The largest of the Nylvish martial sects. The Maelstrom Sect operates across Lithywae, with members who range beyond its borders for contracts and personal ambition. Their primary focus is suppressing monster activity that threatens the Nylvish lands.

The Maelstrom Sect is built around lightning-aligned Ren and overwhelming tempo. Their combat style favors explosive initiation, rapid repositioning, and decisive force. Subtlety is not their concern.

They value action, clarity, and dominance of the battlefield. Maelstrom initiates are taught that hesitation is weakness and that control comes from pressure. Often, they also accept members with polarity to wind, and even earth or water.
